The Upsell feature in the Shipping Bar allows you to recommend additional products to customers directly from the free shipping bar, helping increase average cart value and average order value.
✅ Step 1: Create Your Shipping Bar
1️⃣ Open the Free Shipping Bar app.
2️⃣ Create a new bar or edit an existing one.
3️⃣ Set your goals in the Content tab.
✅ Step 2: Move to the Upsell Tab
4️⃣ Here, you can decide how you’d like to show upsell products along with your bar:
🚫 No Upsell – This option disables the upsell section entirely. No additional products or recommendations will appear to the customer.
🤝 Al Upsell (Frequently Bought Together) – This leverages AI and your data. It automatically analyzes your store's sales history to show products that other customers often buy at the same time.
🛍️ Upsell Specific Products – This gives you full manual control. You choose exactly which individual products appear as an upsell.
Upsell Specific Collections – Instead of picking single items, you select a whole group of products. The system will pull items from that specific collection to show to the customer.
Upsell Same Product (As on the Product page) – This suggests the user to buy more of the same product. Works on Product Page Only.
✅ Step 3: Customize Call-to-Action (CTA)
5️⃣ When you choose to upsell your products, you will see the option to select a CTA from the dropdown.
Add to Cart → Adds the upsell product directly to the cart.
View Product → Redirects to the product page.
6️⃣ You can also customize the button text (e.g., “Grab This Deal” or “Add Now”) by entering your own text in the Button Text field.
✅ Step 4: Save & Preview
7️⃣ Click Save Changes.
8️⃣ Preview your store to see how the upsell appears along with your Shipping Bar.
