Learn how to set up advanced features in the currency converter.
✅ Step 1: Open the Hoppy Currency Converter app
1️⃣ From your Shopify admin, open the Hoppy Currency Converter.
2️⃣ Locate 'Hoppy Currency Converter' in the left-side panel, and click on 'Advanced'.
✅ Step 2: Configure Advanced Settings
3️⃣ Cart Notification- Notify customers that the final checkout happens in your store currency. This is important for transparency, especially when currency conversion is involved.
Toggle ON/OFF the cart notification status.
Enter a message for the cart notification, e.g.:
✍️ “We process all orders in {STORE_CURRENCY} and you will check out using the most current exchange rates.”Choose the background color and text color for the notification banner.
📝 Note: This banner will not show for Shopify Markets-enabled currencies where checkout happens in the selected currency.
4️⃣ Advanced Price Rounding -Round converted prices to make them look cleaner:
Round to decimal (e.g., $12.99)
Remove decimal (e.g., $13)
None (leave as-is)
5️⃣ Expert Settings

Custom Price Selector: Add selectors for price elements you want to convert.
6️⃣ Advanced Custom Position Placement
Customize where the widget and cart banner appear📍:
Currency Converter Box Placement:
🧾 Copy the provided code snippet.
🔧 Paste it in your theme code where you want the widget to show.
Cart Banner Placement:
🧾 Copy the provided banner code.
🔧 Insert it into your Shopify cart template to display it.
✅ Step 3: Save & Apply
7️⃣ Click Save to apply all settings.
